Our’s is an all women community-based organisation where members, who also live with HIV, come together to support one another.
Prevention Outreach
We provide free counselling, referrals to Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) centres and free treatment for opportunistic infections (OIs). We also conduct multiple outreach programs to educate both the general public and at-risk populations about the risks of HIV infection.
Care & Support
We assist children living or affected by HIV with nutrition, legal support and foster care. We also help people within the community find companionship, and facilitate positive marriages. We also take up legal issues on behalf of the community and advocate for their rights.
Livelihood Opportunities
Cheyutha EcoCrafts, is our social enterprise where our members, particularly widows and single mothers, find a dignified income for their handmade products.

Kalavati's journey embodies resilience and hope. She and her husband were diagnosed with HIV in 2003, and she lost him to it six years later. Despite the challenges, her spirit remained unbroken, driven by the need to educate her daughter. Financial struggles loomed until she connected with Cheyutha, finding support for her daughter's schooling and much-needed food and nutrition for herself and her child.
Through the program, Kalavati learned jute bag making, gaining both a skill and sustainable income. Today, she not only thrives but also gives back as an elected board member, sharing her experience and dedication. Her daughter, now educated and employed, sponsors another child, continuing the cycle of hope. Kalavati's story is a testament to the power of community and resilience, made possible through donors and supporters like you.
